With a worldwide network of Lloyd's agents providing empirically observed tanker moves, real-time AIS feeds from the world's largest AIS network and a huge charter fixture database, updated daily from multiple sources, APEX is the only comprehensive source of intelligence on Global Seaborne Oil Trade.  Unlike other charter fixture based accounts of Global tanker trades uniquely APEX provides information on the entire tanker fleet, rather than just those vessels operating on the Spot market.

APEX analysts conduct continuous analysis of these information sources on a vessel-by-vessel basis to compile the APEX Database.
