Privity of Contract - the Impact of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 is edited by Professor Robert Merkin, with contributions from other well-respected professionals.

Professor Merkin is Lloyd's Law Reports Professor of Commercial Law, University of Southampton. Amongst his several publications are Arbitration Law, and Compendium of Insurance Law. He also edits Insurance Law Monthly and Lloyd's Law Reports: Insurance and Reinsurance - all published by Informa Professional under the LLP imprint.

Professor Andrew Tettenborn is the Bracton Professor of Law at Exeter University and is a part-time barrister at the Chambers of Justin Fenwick, QC

Andrew Jamieson is a barrister employed as a Director/legal Adviser at the International Transport Intermediaries Club. He is author of Shipbrokers and the Law.

Jane Jenkins is a solicitor and partner in the Freshfields Construction and Engineering Group and is a member of the Board of Advisers to the European Construction Institute and a CEDR accredited mediator. She has written widely in a range of construction law publications.

James Duckworth is a senior solicitor in the Freshfields Construction and Engineering Group who has contributed to several publications and has spoken at a variety of construction law conferences.

Christopher Henley leads the Reinsurance practice at Ashurst Morris Crisp and has written All Risks Property Insurance, among other publications, and has contributed to Reinsurance Practice and the Law. He is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
