Richard Brent is a barrister at 3 Verulam Buildings and was formerly a solicitor in the EC/Competition Department of Slaughter and May. He has a specialist interest in Community law issues and is the EC editor of the Encyclopaedia of Banking Law. He has contributed to numerous legal publications and has considerable experience of writing on EC law.
